This is an exchange between doodlebug and I this morning at 6:20am. I bought her an alarm clock the other day and she is not allowed out of bed before the clock says 7 because we got tired of getting up at 5 something! Today is the first day I have left my door unlocked because she was coming in at all hours and waking tatertot.doodlebug: "mama...mama... I have to ask you something important, that I don't think daddy can answer.."
mama: "what, but whisper..don't wake the baby again or he will be a grump."
doodlebug: "well... (pause) I (pause) I want to know when you are going to get up?"
mama: (thinking 'when I am damn good and ready you little poop') Saying.."after the sun comes up."
Daddy had no sympathy for me today...'she does have a point..she did not lie... it is a question that daddy could not answer..' lol
